TS Development Division

The TS Development Division of Ongakukan is responsible for the production of all games in the Train Simulator video game series. The division handles planning, filming, editing, scenario writing, design, and programming, and sends out high-quality train driving simulation games to the public. With realism as our ultimate goal, we take train driving simulation as far as possible each day.

Experienced programmers

programmer The main function of Train Simulator is not to simply play a video.
In order to accurately simulate the motion of a train, the simulated vehicle's acceleration and decceleration capabilities, as well as complex data on the tracks themselves, are necessary.
The programmers working at the TS Development Division are not only adept at the algorithms behind controlling a train, but are also very experienced in the art of game programming as well.

Production staff with train know-how

planner One of the greatest features of Train Simulator is its accurate portrayal of small details that are not directly linked to game play. The background scene, the driver's seat image, motor sounds and break sounds are some of these. Many members of the staff know railroads like the back of their hands, and challenge themselves with each successive game to create a more realistic simulation. These staff are responsible for work other than programming, and in their specific areas, work hard to set the details straight.
