Game Screen Train Simulator is a train driving simulation game, where the player gets in the driver's seat and drives trains along existing tracks, keeping track of time and stopping at exactly the right spot. The game is played on real footage from the driver's seat of a train, and every sound played is recorded from real trains as well. Also, using extremely detailed physics calculations, the dynamics of train behavior are simulated accurately, and small tasks performed by train drivers from each railway company are portrayed as much as possible, so the overall experience is very immersive and realistic.

The series dates back to 1995, the "JR East Japan Chuo line" created for the Macintosh computer.
